Dear Friends,

With your support we won a huge victory last night — with over 71% of the vote.

Thank you so much for standing with me, and thank you for demanding that Congress start representing all of the people and not just billionaire campaign contributors.

Yesterday was a great day, and I suspect that the right-wing extremists of this country did not wake up this morning feeling very well.  Against the efforts of dozens of billionaires, the President was re-elected and some great Progressives were elected and re-elected to the Senate.

The election is over, but this country continues to face enormous problems.  In my view, these problems will not be satisfactorily addressed unless we build a strong and energetic grass-roots movement.  You are part of that movement.  You can continue to make an enormous difference.

I look forward to continue working with you in the months and years ahead.

Once again, thank you for your support.  You made all the difference.
